You jump all the way down, then take the stairs to the left and then make a right at the next stairs and get a Triton. Then go through the blue doors again to the big Cage thing. Go to the back of where you insert the triton in a holder, it will rise the the cage, get the item. Take this back through the Yellow doors(use the powered circle thing at the bottom to get to it) and now you can walk across the area with no path, you won't fall, I promise you. Put the item in the hole, and I think you got the rest.
