Milane Mistake

Someone help! I'm trying to get Milane on the train but I can't! She gave me the sword and I leveled it up but I accidentally built it up because I thought it was Monica's original sword and now she won't join even though I have bought three more Gladius swords and leveled them up she still won't join! Is there any way I can get her on board?! Plese I really need help...

Someone told me they did the same thing and she wouldn't take it, so they bought another Gladius sword and leveled the weapon up until it became the Chopper and Milane then accepted the weapon. Hope this helps.
