I have done some research and I have found that my previous hint was wrong:

I have found the ultimate cars for those who cheat but only to modify cars.
Grip: mazda rx8
Speed: nissan 350z
Drift: lotus elise and toyota corrolla
Drag: pontiac gto

Each of these cars require the stage 4 parts which can be unlocked by winning and dominating racedays or just using the 'unlockallthings' cheat

Get ether the lambo or the evo ix. When you start the race get a little bit a head of him then slow down and hit his car. It will push him of and theres a 75% chance he will total his car.

This is how I did (almost finshed game) I got a charger rt it is awesome does the quarter mile in 7.5 secs I had a nissan skyline it sux in handeling so now I got something else I can't rember in speed I got a lamborghini muercilago my max speed is 242 and I don't have ne lvl 4 stuff on it I beat the seed king with a evo xi it's max is 209 with all lvl 4 on it I beat drift king with my rx-7 all lvl 4 and I beat ryo with a evo xi rx7 charger(didnt do so good he totals his car in almost every race) those cars can help you win the game.

If you wanna do a wheelie the best car is the Charger cause it does the whole strip whan you upgrade it to the max.

I have gotten both the Toyota Supra and the Zonda down in under 7 seconds.
All with level 3 parts. First of all you will need to adjust a few settings.
Start off with the engine, follow my other hint to push your car up 100hp.
Then make the rear wheels with as much tread as possible with a large profile and hard suspension. Then drop the pressure below half way,(actually done with real race cars) now make the front tyres considerably smaller with a softer suspension so you can absorb the launch start, then change the direction of the front tyres to point inwards so it is harder to turn but better for the drag strip. Now gears are tricky, you want the gears sorted in an asending order with the 6th gear being the highest. You also what the drag spoiler fully extended. Adjust the NOS setting to be more explosive than lasting

As for the actual drag race you want to hit perfect launches all the way down, easier said than done but to beat 7 seconds you need to.
Around 2nd and 3rd gear hit NOS and that should take you through to 5th gear. The hard part is keeping your car in a straight line when you come down from the launch, which I have no real advice for.

Then pick your favourite track and your favourite side, as it does make a difference, and max out the burn out and then try and try.

Firstly I’m not sure if the tokens you pick after winning or dominating a race day are randomly generated.
After I dominated the first race day into beating the Speed King I picked the middle token, which gave me a Free Car Marker. Which I obviously used on a Zonda, which I used to beat the Speed King, as you need it to beat the other Zonda’s you race. Another hint is to max out on repair and total repair markers as you may need them.

I use this for drag settings, it may cause different effects in other styles. In the tune section for your car go to the engine part and then push the cam all the way up to advanced and then push the start and end boost all the way up. This will give you better performance and top end RPMs, it should also push up your horsepower by atleast 100. If it doesn't then upgrade all performance parts to level 3.

If your looking for the ultimate drag car, buy the Chevrolet Chevelle SS and get everything to level 3. Plus for the extra bonus, it's the ULTIMATE wheelie car. I have wheelied the full 1/4 mile in it(about 1345ft!).

Save up until you get up to about 700k-800k and buy a lamborghini murcielado and get everything to lvl 3 and you can have a faster 1/4 mile than 8.30 if you hit perfect shift and use nos at the right time

To do this just turn map on and turn best line indicators on. Showdowns give you alot of cash. King races give you lots of money especiall speed where you can make 14,500 in 1 race. When you do a wheelie start your nos late to make it last longer.

Even the fastest cars can be low prices like the supra or the plymouth cuda or even the shelby gt500 but don't for get they all cost money to do up so by cheep but fast cars and only buy expensive cars like the zonda when you are ready

You do not actually need a nissan gtr proto. The mitsubishi eclipse works just as well. To at all level 4 except level 3 aero

Sometimes it is actually better to go with muscle cars because the weight of the vehicle causes a better drift. But be warned, if you are not good at drifts, do not try this, this is for more experienced drifters for it is more difficult but pays off in the end

If you are having trouble drag racing the best car to use is the Corvette Z06. If you have at least level two parts on it you will win every race(I did).

After winning or dominating a race day as a prize you might get a free car marker. If you do save it until you beat the second showdown and then use it for the Pagani or the Lambo since they cost a lot more than the others and are faster.

Before you start a race, let your RPMs drop and shift up into first gear. Hit the gas and you should start burning out!!! It gives you a little boost from the start.
