Single action army is the best gun ever, shot at a wall and it will bounce of and kill a guard instantly

Close Quarters Combat (Or CQC) Is Probably Going To Be One Of Your Best Weapons In The Game.

The Basics: You Must Have A Weapon That Says "CQC" In Red On The Menu. And You Must Be Right Next To An Enemy (Within Punching Distance)

The Moves: Keep Hold Of Circle, And A Direction (With The Left Analog Stick) To Slam Them In That Direction. Instantly Knocks Out Your Enemy.

Keep Hold Of Circle To Grab The Enemy, This Leads To All Of The Other CQC Moves (Apart From The Slam)

Threaten:(When Holding An Enemy) Keep Hold Of L3 To Interrogate An Enemy For Information.

Slit Throat: (When Holding An Enemy) Keep Hold Of Circle To Cut Your Enemy's Throat (And Kill Him)

Throw To The Floor: (When Holding An Enemy) Keep Hold Of Circle And A Direction To Throw You Enemy To The Floor

Stick Up: (After You've Thrown Him To The Floor) Aim A Gun At Him, If You Don't.. He Will Get Up And You Will Enter Alert Status (With No AK). If You Want Items From Him (Rather Than Escape) Shoot A Gun Near Him.

Human Shield: (When Holding An Enemy, And A Gun Is Equipped) Press Square To Aim, And Your Enemies Will Hesitate To Attack If You're Facing Them. But Enemies May Come In For Close Proximity Attacks (Shield Smash, Or A Knife Attack)

(It's 95% Because You Have To Have Space On Your Memory Card!)

Some Are There Just For Looks, Or Camo Index In A Specific Area.. But Some Have Purposes.

I'd Tell You What They Were.. But That'd Ruin The Fun!

There's Also Another Few Camos That You Get At The Start Of The Game Too.

They Help With In-Game Features Such As Battery Drain, And Suppressor Wear.

I Shall Say No More (:

The Camera Can Be Changed So That You Can Rotate It, I Would Only Suggest Using This When You're Looking For Things, As It Can Sometimes Distort Your Sense Of Direction.

The Best Place To Use It (In My Opinion) Would Be In "Rokovoj Bereg" (Where You Fight "The Boss")

It Helps You Scope Out Where She Is If You're Going For A Non-Lethal Kill.

A fun way to get in a cheap shot on a boss, take a Fake Death Pill and wait until the enemy boss looks away, then take a Revival Pill and sneak up behind them and the best thing to do is to throw Stun Grenade and shoot him with your machine gun, E.G EM16E1 or AK-47. This will beat them on stamina kill too.

P.S This will not work on The End!

If you have found a locked door and want to open it use a piece of food that you killed and throw it at the door and it will open!

When you beat the Shagohod and EVA's about to hug you press R1 to see The Sorrow in the background.
When you beat The Boss and Snake looks at her horse press R1 to see The Boss and The Sorrow standing beside each other.

Well if you go into the East Wing as a scientist and keep walking in front of Raikov he will grab your balls and throw you down!

You know at the end of the game the president gives Snake a medal yeah? Well if you press and hold R1 and look left you can see Ocelot in the background making his salute thing at you.

Are you having loads of trouble beating The Fear? Well here's a hint! First off equip a stun grenade, then use a Fake Death Pill, The Fear then will walk up to or 'dead' body and say ' he's dead already? ' and ' just when the real fear was about to begin '. Then he will turn around, use the revival pill and throw a stun grenade, once it goes off get out your XM16E1 or your AK-47 and shoot him like crazy! This will also beat him on stamina too.

Right you want to be invisible right? Well there is a way! You can either shoot or punch all 64/65 Kerotans or you can play through the game without going into alert mode once! (I did it this way, I didn't find it very hard actually!)

Right well I think the best way to beat The End is to get your Thermal Goggles and to find his footprints, then follow them and they will take to The End. Then the best weapon to use for me was the MK22, blast him three times and he will fall over. (Do not try to get close to him because he shoots you and throws a Stun Grenade!) Then he will run off, keep reapeting the process of following and shooting him and he will eventually die.

To beat the end quick take a fake death pill and let ot go to 'time paradox'.and when you start again he will be dead before you start.

Right well you can only really do this with the Stealth Camo, but what you do is once you have obtained a handgun go find an enemy soldier, then shoot both of their legs and their right arm (some soldiers might die when you shoot both of their legs!) and if they have one shoot their radio. Then just knock them out and when they wake up they can't call for help, can hardly walk and run and have to abandon their AK-47 and use their Makorovs. Also if they see you they can't get you with their knife!

Right well when you first begin the battle if you unequip your weapon nd stand there Ocelot will come out and say something like ' a duel YES I love it' and then he will stand opisite you, then just as he draws his S.A.A press R2 quickly and fire or if you do it 'unfairly' just shoot as he walks to the area where he shoots from!

Right lets face it mostly all of us like to just run around shooting, sliting and poisoning enemys and watching them suffer yeah well thats all well and good until you meet The Sorrow and that endless wading through the river only to die at the end! Well if your trigger happy and want to save time then when you begin the battle crouch and move forward and you will go under water now just stay there untill you die, then you can use the revival pill simple as that easy!

P.S If you want the The Sorrow's camoflauge then don't use this tactic as you will not get!!

When fighting the end the two best way to 'end the end' is 1 atart to crawl in flektarn camo then look up and youll see his scope reflecting light and snipe him or follow the first part of the last one but find a way (still staying out of sight ) to get to him and shoot him with the shotgun(if you don't have one us your most powerful weapon) then use heat goggles to follow his footsteps

When fighting the fear use flektarn camo because your batterys ont run out whilst wearing it

Im sure you know about the monkey mask (finish snake v monkey with any score) but when wearing it you wont be attacked by dogs just barked at

Also an easy way to stop dogs is to just throw some food you don't want/ need and after eating it theyll have a few minutes of nap time

One of the most needed camos for boss fights is the sneeking suit to get it got to groznyj grad (after coming out of the waterfall ) and the suit will be where you hid raikov it is a black version of what the boss wears halfs all damage decreases stamina loss and supposedly boosts your camo index

Heres a list of bosses and the camo you should use
The end-moss (gives 90-100 camo in his area) the fury-fire(prevents burns)
Oclot unit - changs between flektarn and square iff your sneeking or sneeking suit to go full on against them ocelot-animals or sneeking volgin-sneeking suit (again) and raikov mask (trick only works once so use it o second part) the fear - flektarn(no worrys of batterys dieing ) or sneeking suit the pain-hornet stripe (normal bees wont attack) and the boss - sneeking suit (again yes I know but it's realy useful!)

Allways destroy food/.ammo huts when you get a chance to, so you destroy the areas supplys

Did you know that when you are in the river of sorrow, the ghosts that you encounter actually ARE all the people you've killed in the game, they're even in the state in which you killed them, e.g. Slit throat will result in you seing their heads hanging off!

Make this part easy by ensurig you kill as few guards as you can because you will only have to face the Cobras, not the soldiers. You will get his camo when EVA gives your stuff back. If you've already got the camo, kill yourself immediately an use the revival pill because there's no need to walk all that way again.

When fighting the End, there are several shortcuts to defeat him. My personal favourite would be saving the game before you do anything, reset the PS2 and change your time setting. Move the month up by 3 then save the settings. When you play again and load it, a clip will play instead of you in battle with the End. Snake will walk up to the End to discover that he is long dead!

Or if you're not lazy, you can use the almighty thermal goggles! You can see him when he's hiding and when he does a runner you can see his footprints and follow him to his next hiding place!

If you didn't pick up thermal googles then you will find it hard. If you start running around until you hear 'There' or 'Stupid Boy', look at your map because it will show you where he is as a big red circle. You can also see his scope reflection if you are looking at him and he hasn't spotted you.

To get his camoflauge (which is brilliant!) You have to sneak up behind him and hold him up with the shotgun or hangun, NOT the tranquilser. Go right in front of him and aim at his head. He will refuse 2 or 3 times don't run off or shoot until he gives you the camo.
