The best way I located The End and to know where he was hiding was with my Directional Mic that Snake is equipped with. You may think that does not come in use in the game, but it sure does. When you are hiding from being shot by The End use your Directional Mic and move your joystick slowly around the area you are in. Go in a 360 degree motion. When your Directional Mic detects a sound, you will either hear The End snoring or him just talking. That is the best technique I used. Also when you chase him he is a fast cookie. You might want to use your thermal goggles and your AP Sensor to see if he is close by.
