Good defense

Always use archers, abviously, and put lots of towers, the higher they are, the farther they can shoot. Also, use the rolling logs, pits, and traps, they may be expencive, but worth it

put small towers backed by bigger tower, backed by larger tower all lined up. put catapults and ballistas wth archers and crossbow men with braziers. with a really good defence you have a strong offense, work on both. don't let them come to you, but be sure to be well supplied.

Just put tons of square towers and put loads of archers in them meanwhile, get some round towers to put caterpults on and also get knights, no sorry not just two I meant at least twenty at the gap in the wall. By the way, you should make a labyrinth using the moat

No, no, no. You want a gatehouse with drawbridge, large moat, and square towers on the sides of gatehouse with ballistae in them and a couple of catapults.

just build a massive wall with 3-10 towers and then another wall in front of that with more towers and add loads of archers and a few crossbow men cuz of swordsmen but rolling logs are pointless so use killing pits and pitch or you could put loads of spearmen in front of your wall.
