Yes you do get the staff of life at the center of the galaxy. The center is in the middle of the huge Grox territory. You need intersteller drive #5 to make the journey though.

You actually don't need he interstellar drive 5 to make it through since the gravity in the center of the galaxy shrinks your travel radius but you do need a lot of health. It's really expensive to keep buying health pack and the upgrades so I recommend allying with the grox for a peaceful ride and because you get a cool badge. And you can always tell where the center of the galaxy is because there are more black holes in the center and the stars are brighter as you go along. Hope this helps!

You actually do have to have the Interstellar Drive 5 and, for your

Health, just type 'RefillMotives' in on the cheat screen when your

Health is low.

(I just made a mad dash for it.)

(To open The Cheat Screen, push Ctrl+Shift+C at the same time.)
