You mine pure essence the same place as you mine normal essence, but just in a members world.
Pure essence is members essence that will make any rune, unlike normal ess, you can only make non members runes with.

To mine Pure Essence, you must be a member. Pure Essence is the same thing as Rune Essence. So, go to the Rune Essence mine in a members world (Can be found in Varrock's Rune shop) once you have finished the Free Quest; Rune Mysteries Quest, and mine some Pure Essence. Like Rune Essence, take the Pure Essence too the Mysterious Ruins (Depending on what Rune/s you wish to make)with the right type of Talisman use the "Tally (Talisman)" on the Ruins and once inside the Ruins, craft at the alter.
