I am currently a level 65. Unfortunetly.. My attack, strength, and defence levels are not as high as my combat. I was wondering if it was possible to raise these levels but not raise the combat level..? If so.. How? Thanks to whoever replys to my stupid question. =)

It would impossible to increase your Attack, Strength and Defence levels greatly without impacting, i.e increasing your combat level.

Your combat level is determined by how high your Attack, Defence, Strength and Hitpoints are. You maybe be able to increase a level 2 or 3 times without raising your combat level, but eventually your combat level will rise if you continue increasing those stats.

Hope this helps.

There is no way to raise your attack, strength, defence, and hitpoints level without raising your combat level, it is that simple. You see, There are multiple skills that make up your combat level. Those skills are your ranged, mage, summoning, prayer, attack, strength, hitpoints, and defence. There fore, if you try to raise any of those, your combat level will raise eventually also. Every skill that contributes to your combat level does not raise your combat level each time that level goes up one, however. Besides, whats wrong with a higher combat level, right?

No it is not possible. See, your combat level is a total of all your other levels such as attack, defence, strength, archery, and mage. Your combat level will be higher telling others that you are more experienced in some of these other levels. So it is normal to have a higher combat level than your other levels.

You can train your attack and strength levels without raising your combat.

First of all, make your combat either mage or ranged based, this can be done by training your range or mage really high, to say level 70 or 80. Then train your attack and strength.

This will only work untill your combat becomes combat bases again, once you reach about combat 85, you can't do this anymore.
