A game, on the internet, and is free. It's like, you have a character, and your aim to raise his/her skills, complete quests, and have bragging right (or whatever). You play in a world, with other players, and can trade and what not. It's mega fun, for like a month.

Lol, okay I was confused years ago when I used to play, so allow me to hlep you out.
You see Runescape 2 is the Runescape that you are currently playing, it is the Runescape that everyone plays. There was a Runescape before this, and it was called Runescape classic. Since this is the newest one, and the second Runescape to come out, it is called Runescape 2. They were both developed by Jagex. So to sum it all up, whenever you login to a server and play, your playing on the main Runescape2 website!

Runescape 2 is an online game that can be accessed by going to the website, www.Runescape.com. This game is a massive online adventure game where you are able to kill many monsters, you can explore lands and you can complete quests. You are able to level up in multiple skills and meet with people all around the world. You also can pay 5 dollars a month Us currency to access even more things on the game.

Runescape 1 is actually Runescape Classic, which you can not make accounts in anymore and can only play if you already owned one.
Runescape 2 is the game which you are most likely playing right now! I weas confused as well for a while!
