I am currently at the garden hall at the maiden-girl and the levels are present. I turned the levels but no door was opened. What to do to get further with the game?

I tried to remove the levels but they don't work anymore.
Note: when I am looking to the main door in that hall I see only water running to one side of the door.

If you look at the ground, you will see that water is flowing from the wall to the foremost lever, and then to the pool. You need to divert this water first to the lever in the back, and then to the Giant King statue at the very back. You need to do this for each side of the garden.

I think the levers get stuck if they are in the correct position, so it sounds like you did one side correctly. Now do the other side.
