What is the difference between Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction? Or are they the same game because I would like to buy it.

They are different because the expansion has more items and 2 more characters
But you need to buy diablo 2 before you can play diablo 2 expansion

diablo 2lord of destruction is the expantionof the regular diablo 2 and has more levles and two new charictars.

Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction is the expansion of Diablo 2 so it has added features like more levels and more characters. So the expansion would be cool to get.
But you need to get Diablo 2 before you can get it's expansion.

Diablo 2 is the original game. Lord of Destruction is the expansion pack which gives you two extra characters and the opportunity to continue after killing Diablo to kill the final Prime Evil, Baal. I would recommend you get it, the two extra characters are both awesome.
