Problem in "Crew Expendable" unit

I have been playing for about three weeks now and I still can't jump into the helicopter at the end of "crew expendable." I thought it was because I was too slow but I practised and now I am right on the tails of my team mates. What is going on. It appears to be blocking me. Any advice. What could I be doing wrong. I am about to chuck the game and give up. Any advice? Any way to bypass this level?

Sprint; make sure your not crouching, and jump to the chopper. I did it first time without even knowing I had to, so like.

Is it obvious what is wrong or? Because it just sounds like your crouching or something simple like that...

Once you've passed the door, then immediately start jumping while keeping 'Shift' key pressed all the time. For me 'Shift' is for sprinting so you need to jump while sprinting. This will help you catch up with your team. Once you get near to the helicopter, just slow down a bit and watch for the prompt from the game asking you to jump. When that appears, just jump and that's it, you're done! A cut scene will be displayed where you appear to be falling off but then good ol Price rescues you :P

I have the exact same problem. I'm playing on a MAC and it's so random whether I make the jump. It just completely ruins your enjoyment of the game particularly if you are playing Arcade Mode, you get 7 lives and you just can't get on to the friggin' helicopter, seriously annoyed.

Have you guys fixed the problem yet, because I'm having the same problem here!!

I had the same issue...confirmed I was not crouching but still failed...UNTIL: After coming out on deck and following around to helicopter, instead of "going wide left" and following the outside edge of the ship to get to the helicopter, I kept my right turn tight just passed the stairs (near 90 degrees) and went between the poles and the wall and was able to jump on board from that angle...you can't follow the outside edge of the ship it seems...angle is wrong for the jump to succeed

When you are turn near the stair case - run between the poles and the wall [to the extreme right , do not run near the edge of the ship I.e. To the left]. To reach the helicopter, run to it while near the last but one pole, I.e. Between the last third and second pole [ just when you are about to reach the last but one pole, take a turn toward the helicopter and jump as soon as you hear the command]. This should do.
