Paradise Island Scenario

Paradise Island Scenario

I've tried to complete this level about 8 times now and every time I fail it's because I can't keep the guests happiness level at 93. I've plenty of food and drink stalls, lots of benches, bins, maps and water features nothing keeps them happy for long. It tends to drop to about 89 or 90 and stays there for the last year. Please help.

Have you tried to put foliage around where the guests eat, I think it's like scenery and they like how pretty your zoo is. Thats what I do, they seem really happy when I do that.

Guest answered:

Paradise Island is a very hard Senario. The guest hapiness will increase with Scenery, ect, but the only way to pass it is to get all 11 animals to breed at some point during the scenario. If one pair of the animals dies of old age, you automatically will fail the zoo, because the animals can't survive alone for 3 straight years. A possible recomendation to help this would be to "research" the animal fertility to increase reproduction rates for the animals. Do it as soon as the scenario starts.

Guest answered:

I have also had trouble with this scenario and it took me about 10 tries to finally figure out the secret. I used to put pathways between each exhibit so guests could walk around the entire exhibit but it wasn't until I made the exhibits bigger to increase animal happiness that I discovered that guests don't like to walk too much so I made one long pathway up the middle of the park and made the exhibits touch one another. Leaving me with four exhibits in the first row, another four in the middle row and three more in the back row, leaving me with room to place the larger buildings and provide a sitting area with plenty of foliage. This increased guest happiness to 98, shockingly. However it is slowly decreasing as more guests arrive, even when ticket price is at 100 dollars so the trick is to slowly build your zoo over the three years provided. I still needed to provide plenty of scenery and buildings such as restaurants, the primate house and the reptile house, and ALOT of snack and drink machines. Hope this helps Smile

Guest answered:

I tend to not let them in the Zoo until a couple of months are left, do this buy deleting the path under the entrance arch, re-add it when there are only a few months left, works for me but there is a glitch with this scenario

Guest answered:

Whenever the guest happiness falls, I resort to kicking out the unhappy ones. To do this, pause the game, build a tiny exhibit around the unhappy guest(s), unpause, delete the exhibit, and tadaaa- they're gone Smile

Guest answered:

What I did is put five restaurants only in the zoo, used cobblestone path, used the turtle fountain and the Bighorn statue. All of these work every time. Exhibits can be 100 squares except for the Elephants I make them 200 squares. I put glass on one side and have the guests look into them just from one side, doubling the path. It gives the animals privacy and guests can see into the exhibit without walking around. Lower the cost in your restaurants and as soon as you hit 95, set admission fee the highest since a new guest has 75 happiness and it can lower the 95.
