Question for The Sims 3

How do you break up with a sim? I have tried kissing and flirting with other sims. It didnt work. I even tried arguing and yelling at them. There isnt a button that says break up or anything. Please help me!

Well I just insulted him, then I saw threaten to divorce, then I saw break up.

This option takes time but it's worth it. Go to your partner and always do friendly things, like chatting and getting to know. Once it says that your partner thinks you are "okay" keep giving them friendly hugs, just one after the other (if you have a master charisma skill you can also do the bore to death option, as this is much faster). Eventually your partner will get SO BORED that you lose friendship points and go into the "red zone" then, you only have to argue a few times and the BREAK UP option will appear in the insults. The "heart broken" moodlet will stay with you for a day or two, but it's worth it Smile

It doesn't let me, it just says 'apologise for rudeness' , and them the insults become compliments.
