how many people can you have in your house ive got two so far but i cant seem to get any further one of my sims is best mates with a person but it still isnt working can some one help?

Ok guys, jeeeezzzz! Take a chill bean! Right, I think this is the right answer. Ok, I think you can have:
NINTENDO DS: 6
NINTENDO 3DS: ( MINE HAVE 3 NOT SURE) 3-6
PC:8

On normal DS (not 3DS) you can only have a max of 2 people no more

You have to be married or engaged. What you do is use your SIM and do different things under the romantic option, once it is all the way up you can propose going steady. Then keep doing the options under romantic. Once you get that bar all the way up you get the option to propose marriage, once you do.. Under the romantic option it gives you "try for baby". Do that and the female SIM will become pregnant

For xbox 360, you can only have 6 sims in one household, no matter how big it is, if you want more you'll have to kick someone out.
