no cant have kids for the ds version and you cant grow older so cant have kids tried cant even get them in bed but i got married its a long time for the thing to happen only on the pc version you may hope this helped you

Idk but I'm pretty sure you can if you play long enoght case is you go to shop for sofas it says on this sofa(forgot waht the sofa was called)this sofa is not meant for you're house if you have kids of pets sooo....yea I'm confused to if you can but I'm pretty sure you can hope you can figure it out!!!
