Question for Pokemon White
How do you get Pokemon from the national dex in Pokemon white? I haven't beat the game yet but do they appear after you beat it or is there something special I have to do? Thanks in advance.
P.S.-I know it is a noob question I'm just wondering because I only have one ds lite so I don't want to have to trade if I can help it.

Most Pokemon that you find that come up in your National Pokedex cannot be found. After you defeat the main storyline, you will gain access to new areas that have previous generation Pokemon.
You will have to Trade for the rest of the Pokemon that you don't find to complete the National Pokedex.
It's always a hard task to complete the National Pokedex.

After you beat the game you get access to The route East of Opelucid and The gate on the route west of Nimbasa.
