Question for Pokemon White

Ok, so I beat N and Ghetsis... And I got my hands on a Meloetta. It is at lvl. 50 now. So I went to the little back alley bar in Castelia city, but when I got to talk to the guitar guy, not only does he not teach relic song but he doesn't even play his guitar. What I mean is, he is playing it but from youtube videos I saw of other Meloetta's learning relic song, he actually plays a song you can hear. But I only hear the game music not the guitar music. So what am I doing wrong? Does Meloetta need to be at a higher lvl? Or does it have to be on a certain day? And why isn't the musician even playing his song? Every other musician I go to in the other cities play their respective songs. Its very frustrating. Can someone tell me what is wrong please? Thank you.

I think it's because the Meloetta that you have isn't an Event Meloetta. Since the Event has yet to be released, the Meloetta you have was hacked. This is why I don't think the man will teach Meloetta Relic Song.

The same thing happened to me.

The game is rather good at ignoring hacks. Ilegally obtained Pokemon (especially those with in-game events) are often overlooked by the game, and often damage it. I would release the Meloetta immediately out of fear that it will damage the save file.

Maybe its the game being broken for having an illegal pokemon like Meloetta. You need to reset it and get a event Meloetta the right way without hacking the game cause hacked pokemon always brakes games
