Question for Pokemon White
How do I get Thundrus when it keeps roaming around Unova?It's EXTREAMLY hard to get Thundrus for me and how come when I used Mean Look to prevent him/it from escaping,HE/IT still escaped!WHY??!!!!??:(

I understand. It is very hard to catch it. However, Mean Look should help you. Just one thing... If your Pokemon that used Mean Look faints or is returned, Mean Look is no longer in effect.

You need luck. I've caught Thunderus on the 4th battle with it. First two weakened it and the last two were a Dusk Ball and an Ultra Ball. Mean Look helps, but you need to have a strong Pokemon use it.

Try using bronzong with a block skill... he's much tougher and can withstand longer

try finding and catching a wynaut it is possible to find one where there is a "pokemon outbreak"

There is a much better way to catch it other than using Mean Look or any of the other techniques. First of all, buy about 20 ultra balls and 20 timer balls. Now that you've done that, go to one of the gates where Thundarus might roam, go in and out of the gate until you see the weather change. You will come in contact with Thundarus quite quickly, within a few encounters. Now whittle down it's health. If possible, continue the battle for as long as possible alternating between the ultra and timer balls. I know this seems like a simple concept, but I have all lengendary storm Pokemon doing this. If you don't succeed, keep going in and out of the same gate until you get the torrential rain. I hope this helps! ;)

I used a lv 50 bronzong that has the block skill, and that's when I caught him (after weakening him of course)
