You can Breed a Pokemon with Ditto by placing the Ditto and the other Pokemon in the Daycare, which is found south of Goldenrod City.

If you walk around a little, you might be able to receive a Pokemon Egg from the Daycare Man.

You cannot Breed Legendary Pokemon.
