How many maps are there in SS?
<BR>I've read one place where you get three starter pokemons, but Johto and Kanto are the only maps I've read anything about...

ANSWERS

You can get one of the three Johto starters from Professor Elm. You get one right at the begining of the game.

After beating Red, Professor Oak will let you pick one of the three Kanto starters. You find Professor Oak in his lab.

After beating Red (and possibly getting your Kanto starter) Steven Stone will let you pick one of the three Hoenn starters. He is in the Silph Co. Lobby in Saffron.

You can only get a total of three starter Pokemon (one Johto, one Kanto, one Hoenn) in this game without trading or migrating.

There is only one Map in Pokemon SoulSilver (It shows both the Johto and Kanto Regions). Those are the only two regions you can go to in the game.

It is possible to get a total of three Starter Pokemon in Pokemon SoulSilver. You get a Johto Starter Pokemon when you begin the game. After you defeat Red on Mt. Silver, you can obtain a Kanto Starter Pokemon from Professor Oak in Pallet Town. After you receive the Kanto Starter Pokemon, you can receive a Hoenn Starter Pokemon from Steven Stone in the Silph Company Building in Saffron City.
