You catch a Farfetch'd like you would catch anyother Pokemon; by weakening it, possibly inflicting a status condition, and throwing various types of Pokeballs.
Farfetch'd can be found on Routes 38, 39, 47, and 48, and in the Safari Zone.

I used up half of my pokeballs (including my ultra and great balls) trying to catch mine, even though he was at 1 hp the whole time. Finally I put him to sleep and THEN my pokeball worked, so use a status effect before making an attempt.
