If you are willing to baby it for a little bit (give it an Exp. Share) Togepi, Togetic and eventually Togekiss could be a valuable asset to your team. But if your party is already set, then I would advise not to.

Guest answered:

Togekiss is a very good Pokemon, plus the one from the egg you get has an egg move-Extrasensory. This is a very good move that is difficult to get on a Togepi. If you don't have any plans to add a normal or flying type, I would keep your Togepi.

Forgoten_Scars answered:

I would personally put him in a PC. I've never found much use for that Pokemon. It was always a wasted slot or something to feed to the dogs should I need to revive my other Pokemon.

Guest answered:

Well I did put him in my party because I leveled him up. He is really easy to level up because weaker Pokemon don't need a lot of exp to level up so here's what you do if you don't have exp share:

Put him in the first slot of your party

Battle

On your first turn switch him out for a better Pokemon and beat the wild Pokemon

Because every Pokemon that was in the battle and didn't faint gets exp points and if you're going to switch out a Pokemon you always go first on a move
