Question for Pokemon Soul Silver
In Pokemon silver there is a man blocking my way from leaving the town where you get the red gyrdras or whatever it's called how do you get to the last city gym? I need the 8th gym badge

After you defeat the Mahogany Town Gym Leader, head to Goldenrod City. You will find out that Team Rocket have taken over the Goldenrod City Radio Tower. After you defeat Team Rocket in the Goldenrod City Radio Tower and received the Silver Wing, you can go past that man in Mahogany Town.

You need to follow the story line. That man prevents you from skipping a large portion of the game. Do what you are supposed to and he will let you pass.

You battle the gym, then team Galactic, hidden in an underground area in Mahogany town. The entrance is in a little house. Then go to Goldenrod's radio tower and finish em and you can go past him.
