Cyndiquial, lv 17
Mareep, lv 14
Venonat, lv 10
Machop, lv 11
And a Pidgy, lv 13> This is to defeat Falkner.

The typing is very good. You are the first person to ask if their team was good and not have 3 water types or something ridiculous like that. The only thing I would suggest is to raise the levels of all your Pokemon to about the same. If you raise Mareep up to the same level as Cyndiquil, it can easily sweep Falkner's team. I give it a 7/10. A good 6th Pokemon could bump it up to a 8 or even 9.

Mareeps lv 17 now too, im still looking for the rod so i can catdh a water type.

For a rookie trainer,yes.but I suggest you get you machop and venonat up a few more levels if your going to defeat falkner.
