You can get a Sun stone by getting first place in the Pokemon Bug Catching competition at National Park.

You can get one from winning first place in the bug contest ( you need to get a Pokemon with good stats and make it have most of it's hp for better chance like butterfree and shinys add a better chance to win 1st place)or get one in the pokeatlon for a number of p or wahtever it's like 30000 for 1 I don't know somthing like in that race

I would recommend trying to get first place in the bug catching competition.Save before you enter, just in case you don't get a sun stone. Hope this helps! ;)
