As I answered on the other question asking the same thing, you need an Action Replay device. Using cheats are risky, as they can corrupt your game.

First start a new game then choose the leaf Pokemon at the start ..........don't catch any more Pokemon then when it start to evolve push b button then go professer oak and talk he will say why hasn't it evoled then speak with your mum and she says why do you have one weak Pokemon and a key board comes up and type your codes in there................................it takes a lond time beleve ME it takes FOREVER but it works
