Action replay soul silver not working?

I just got my Dsi Action Replay today. I took it home and put it in to my Dsi with soul silver in the action replay. I checked off the cheats I wanted and pressed start game with codes then the title thing played and it went to the options screen. I chose my file and the screen turned white and it played the title screen again and then I went to my file and pressed a and it started and it went to the game but the cheats didn't work. What happened and how can I fix it?

You really might want to consider taking this question to the Action Replay forum. You'll have a lot better luck getting a good answer there, seeing as there are people there that know a lot about the action replay. Just start a topic there, and ask the same question you did here. Should get a good answer within a day or two. I'll provide a link to the forum, if you need it.

I'm no expert on the action replay, but have you tried using less cheats? Maybe it's too many and that's what's messing it up.

When u get 2 the screen when u choose ur cheats take out the Action Replay Card and then load the game. It worked 4 me. TThat or some of the cheats r defective.

I am having the same problem? I tried taking out the Action Replay Card and then loading the game but it didn't work. Does anyone know anything else we can do?

i had that problem too but you start your game dont press anything go onto your file then enter your code combos

Having the same issue....it reboots twice (it asks you if you want to boot the game w/codes, you say yes, it restarts-when you press Continue to continue previous games, it reboots, losing all cheat codes.

How is it so many are having problems w/this one? What is the solution?
1) delete all codes and start from scratch manually?
2) uncheck some codes, and see if any work?
3) where do the code combos go? on the PC program that manages the Action Replay?

yeah mine was working yesterday, and i turned it off to eat turned it back on with cheats and when i clicked the buton to enable the cheat nothing happend please help me!?

I had the same exact thing happen on my Pearl version! I had to restart my game of two and a half years and then my AR didn't work! Really frustrated cause I bought the AR yesterday.

Solved it!!!!! At least I think, if you have the change pokegear code on it fails.. I'm not sure why, but I turned it off and it fixed my game!

Yeah it's really frustrating so I restarted the action replay again & again it didn't work so I just ejected the stupid thing & never did it again so I was curios about it so I just searched about it not working and found you guys. CURSE THIS STUPID GAME! THIS IS A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you uncheck the pokegear codes then it will load correctly

This same thing is happening to me on my dsi it goes to the title screen I press my data it turns white then starts over and when I click the data again the cheats don't work!

I have a fix but you have to use a DSlite for this to work with the AR DSI and Soul Silver. Remove the GBA slot insert (or any game you have in that slot so the slot is totally empty). Start the DSI with the AR and Game in the slot...select your codes, load and bam. Worked for me just now.

Well you just TAKE OFF the pokegear code then it won't go to white screen or anything like that all your codes put on will work but if that doesn't work you have to many mabey if it's not any of those go to the thing online and hit the icon and hit action replay reset ok=D

It toldly worked now I hav a tysplosion lelvel 71 and only have 4 bages in fact every Pokemon I have is level is 40 or higer

For DSi action replay, all you do is press down the y, x, a, b buttons, and the keypad plus l and r. Hold it down until a blue screen appears.

This just happened to mine, using a DSi ar and it was weird because it worked on my friend's soulsilver but suddenly stopped working on my heartgold.

FIXED IT by turning off all the codes other than the one I wanted, the exp code, and it seems to be working now. One of the codes I didn't know was on was for pokegear color, so that might've been it.
