How do I get to umbridges office? If I have to use exploding potion, where do I use it? And how much of it do I use?

If youre at the part with the gate and the green flashing orb, what you do is use the decoy detonator and draw the path through the walkway behind the orb (the one over the bottomless pit) and once your over the orb, a little star looking thing will appear in the top screen, and thats when you drop the decoy.
