Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

How do you get foreign fruit trees? I have pears (my native fruit), coconuts (from the beach), cherries and peaches (from my friend). Is there any way to get new tress other than wireless linking?

EspeonDude_ answered:

You get Foreign Fruit by going on Wi-Fi or Direct Connect and going to your friends town.

These are your foreign fruit: Apples, peaches, cherries, cocanuts, pears and oranges.

The best way is to link to someone who has the fruit you need. Look on the forums and someone may give you thier friend code.
I have also had peeps mail you fruit in letters and I almost always get oranges.

Zelda_Fan answered:

Send a neighbour your native fruit in the mail and write a message (must make sense) then send it and you should receive a message back with a different fruit.
