First off, You need to talk with Lyle (that otter outside your house on Saturday)
He'll ask you "when is a good time for Crazy Redd to visit?" Mon. Tue. Wed. Thurs. Or Fri. You pick. Then He'll show up in front of The Town Hall. If Redd comes before you talk to Lyle, ask Booker if there's any special visitors to know when he's there. When he comes he'll ask for a password, talk with animals until one of them spills the beans. Then Present Redd with the password. Become a member for 3,000 bells, then Redd'll mail you the password every week.

Time Traveling: When you start up your game, select your phone, instead of your charecter. You'll notice you have an extra option than normal: Set Clock!
Set your clock to the desired date and voilla! WARNING! Side affects may include: Weeds, lots and lots of WEEDS, neighbors will move out/in (depending how much you meddle), You may miss important things.

2. When you start playing animal crossing press the phone
Then press reset clock and change the date
