Are those brown things sticking from the ground turnips? And how do you sell turnips to Tom Nook? What are fossils worth?

Hey, no those brown things are weeds, and to sell turnups to tom nook you have to buy some from Joan on sunday and then talk to tom nook and go to turnip prices. If you think it's a good price sell them to him. Oh and it all depends on what kind of fossil it is. Like skulls could be worth 5,000 bells or higher.
