Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

I just got a used game of Animal Crossing: Wild World, and everytime I put it in to my DS, I get "Unable to retrieve data. Please turn the power off and reinsert game card."

That happened on my Mario Party DS game card. Maybe try blowing dust off it. If not, make sure that the game card is in perfectly. If it is, keep it like that. If that doesn't work, take it in to your local game store. If they can't fix it, you shouldn't buy another game card. You should just wait for Animal Crossing New Leaf to come out. ( It's for the 3DS. )
