Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World
There is some rumors going around about getting a dog.... Is it true??? Do you do it regularly or with the action replay??? Please help I really want the dog cause it seems like so much fun!!!

Well I heard these rumours too and have been trying to get one every day.(How to do it is on this site somewhere.) However it has never worked for me and many other people have said the same leaving me still dogless.

I don't think it's true. If it was true there would be pictures or youtube videos on it. But if you really want to check there are two rumored ways.
1. Bury a shovel, once you get the golden shovel look under your bed and there should be a dog there. I don't know which bed so make sure to check the saving room beds too.
2. Shoot down Pete (he comes on days when nothings going on at 9:00am and 5:00pm). Talk to him until he says "Ouch, that really hurts" or something like that, I don't know the exact words. Then go to the nearest tree and shake it, like, 10 times. A dog should fall out.
