How do you make red roses and crossbreed flowers?

You cannot make red roses, they just show up. For crossbreeding, you can only crossbreed certain flowers. Look online for an animal crossing wild world crossbreeding guide. To crossbreed you place the flowers next to each other (diagonally is best) and water them. You water them every day for best results. Now, either the crossbreeded flower will show up (which means you can just pick the flower and keep it) or another flower like the ones you are crossbreeding will show up (in that case your will water the two crossbreeding flowers plus any that are like those two that show up). Keep watering all the flowers and eventually you will get the crossbreeded flower. If you make a black rose and let it wilt (I know it's scary because you worked so hard and you wanna keep the black rose) then you water the wilted black rose with a golden watering can (which you get by maintaining a perfect town for 15-16 days, for more details on that look online) and then your wilted black rose turns into a golden rose. Its pretty awesome. But only a wilted black rose will turn into a golden rose. Watering any other type of flower, wilted or alive, with a normal or golden watering can, will not give you a golden rose. There is only one way for the golden rose.
