Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

to get nooks final shop upgrade it says i need to get someone to visit the shop?? none of my friends have wild world game is there another way i can do it?? also i cant go out the gate will somebody please help thanks

that is what i thougt but its a lie... don't worry you dont need to you just neeed the final upgrade of nooks store
