Alright, look, I do not have this game. But, I can still help you. You see, the problem with this is that I do not think that anyone looks at this question&answers board anymore, so no one will see your friend code, thus making no one add you as a friend. The forums for Animal Crossing however, are still active. So, as a solution to your problem, I suggest that you post your friend code in the Forum so that lots of people can see it and add you as a friend. If you do not know how to get to the forum, then don't worry, below is a link to the Animal Crossing Forum.

The Animal Crossing Forums have a Friends Code, it's a pinned topic there. People are still posting friends codes there. So it's still active.
