I have only got 2,000 bells in my account so why don't I get interest even when I change the date and what is the max money of interest I can get.

Well if you time travel you should put at least 50,000 in the bank (if you have that much!)

You get interest on the 1st of every month. The more money is in your account, the more money you get in interest.

Not 50,000 bells. It's 20,000 bells. Put in that much and than you will get 99,999 bells for interest (no lower than
20,000 bells).

Oh and jackieboy is right put in 20000 bells change the date to a month later

Youre probably changing the date with the phone.you have to change the ds date, not the game date.
