Turnips.

I watered my red turnip 15 times a day like I was told and left it overnight, but it still died. Could one of my neighbours have trampled it or did I just not look after it enough? Also,Joan won't sell me another one. Why is this?

Plant the seeds and keep them watered daily to grow the turnip. At the end of the week dig up the turnip and you can sell it to Tom Nook for 16,000 bells. If you forget to water the red turnip even just one day, it will rot and become worthless.You should probly plant it near you house so you can keep a better
Eye on it.

15 times a day works EVERY time in my town. You might have left it one day accidently...

The best way to do this is water it all at once, count how many times you do it until you get to 15.

Also, Joan does sometimes not have Red Turnip seeds on her. She shall have some eventually... If you don't time travel to meet her, that is, as this messes with the game and Joan won't have any Red Turnips with her.

It is normally hard to water fruit, turnips and trees so don't worry if it doesn't work. If you want to give it to Wendell just plant it on Sunday and dig it up on Monday and Wendell will accept it. Hope I helped,
