Friend Code...

Copper won't give me my friend code all he says is that there is "no compatible access point in range". This is happening is my Pokemon Diamond too everytime I ask for a friend code. How do I get my friend code? (please explain in detail...)

If you want a friend code you have to have a wi-fi access point you can't just connect to someone in Japan your DS isn't strong enough. You need to buy a access point or go to McDonalds if you live in the U.S.A.

Jackieboy Tips:

To connect to Wi-Fi you need to have a Wi-Fi USB adapter or go to a Wi-Fi hotspot. Eg. McDonalds, Starbucks. Once you are connected to Wi-Fi, you can ask Copper for the Friend Code.

Hope I Helped!

ImSweet answered:

You have to have wi-fi conection! If you don't have Wi-fi then you need to set it up. This is what you do:
1. Play the game you want for wi-fi connection
2. Click on Nintendo wfc
3.then you will see a screen that says options or Nintendo wi-fi settings, click on Nitnendo wi-fi settings
4. Click on search for an access point
5. You will see some choices click on one of them. If there is a lock by it then you have to unlock it by putting your phjone # in with out these: "-"
6. Then it will ask you do you want to have a connection test, click yes or confirm. Then it should say connection successful. 7.Then go back to the first screen you saw that says Nintendo wi-fi settings and options. Then click "B" again and you will return to that game.
