How to get a bigger house?

When you get all of the mortgages pay of and when you go to tom nook he says that he needs a bigger permit so he tells you to wait, my friend has been waiting forever.

This is actually quite funny. Tom nook says that he CANT get a bigger house permit..thus no one can have a house bigger then 5 rooms(not including attic bedroom) hope that answers your question

I have the same problem. does you friend have 5 rooms?? coz that's where i am stuck on. my friend has 10 rooms and he wont tell me how he got them all.

go to the post office talk to the nice or mean duck and make a deposit for all the money u owe. and then once u go outside ur person will be happy and do a lil dance. lol, then go to tom again and he will thank u and then ask that is it to small ? want to upgrade then u say yes and u can change the color of the roof there is lots to choose from i just changed mine to purple

and if its stil to small keep upgradeing till its to the biggest u can get but u have to keep going to the post office to pay it off

What I did to get 5 rooms is to keep saving your money in your post office whilst collecting more if you have different fruits from other peoples towns it will be better as they can be sold up to 500 bells. So anyway pick your trees shake your trees for money fish in your oceans and rivers and collect insects and flowers to sell keep doing this for a few weeks and your bells we increase each time this will then lead up to your morgage and there you go you pay it of and your house is bigger after paying of your morgage make your way over to tom nooks store and he will say go bigger or stay the same you then say bigger and pick the roofs colour I picked pink as I have a pink house (lovely furnature) then the next day your house would of grown then you have to get money to decorate your house. Xxx

Well I heard that when you get over 70,000 points for your house you get a model of your house and if you get 150000 or somthin you get a two story model maybe that gives you extra rooms and btw they like rare items like mush furniture and to get heaps of money you cam put some money in the account and skip 60 years by going on the phone and your will recieve 99,999 bells of intrest

Another way to earn money is to shake the trees because sometimes you get money bags but sometimes you might get a bee hive but then you have to run really fast away!

Has any one here tried th time machine method? Y'know, money in the bank, back to 2000, little more money in the bank, then forward to 2099- you have 100, 000 bells. I'd advise putting paper on the ground before doing his though, I encountered a few weed problems.

this is such a stupid question I mean seriously who dosent know that you can only get more than 5 rooms if you get extra points for rare fruniture like mush fruniture or rainbow and stripped fruniture you can only get rainbow frunitur from sallyah the beaver by giving her bullonder bones which you can get by killing bullonder the monkey monster which you kill by pushing in a hole.you can get the stripped fruniture by finding a brazillian flag in a cave you find by jumping in the water and swimming into the ocean and fighting an octupus and stealing his bag under a boulder then you give the flag to lornia who will give you a stripped desighn then take it too sable and ask her to make more of it and give it to nook and ask him to make a collection with it of fruniture.all you half to do to get the mush is collect 30 acorns or more at the acorn festival

He's just joking with you about expanding further, You can't get any further than that. So really, there isn't really any point paying off your final mortgage.
