Action Replay, Are they Safe?

I've heard lot's of things about action replay for DS, me myself like gaming, (especially acww) I've heard some good and bad things on action replay. Is it true that it can freeze your game? And would you have to start a brand new town again?

Thanks! -Sarahcool95

Well yes it can freeze your game and it can make you have to start over but this is on very rare occasions when you over load the action replay by using to many cheats at once.Limit yourself to about three cheats per use and you will be just fine.

Ok, first of all, Action Replay does not destroy your actual DS console in any way. If your game freezes, you will not have to start your town over; you will just get Resetti next time you load the game, which isn't a big deal.
I've used my Action Replay for about 2 years, and yes, I have overloaded my game cartridge by using too many codes at once and had to start over, but I didn't know better before. But, even if your town does get bricked by too many codes (meaning your game becomes inaccessible), you can find many different codes to unbrick your town, though after that you would have to start over. I suggest that you get Action Replay to try it out, just don't use too many codes at a time. First, you will have to insert the "Text to Item" code in the Action Replay which can be found on many hex code websites. Hacked flowers, tools, furniture, clothes, accessories, and other small items do absolutely no harm. Don't use codes in your house though because it may be bad. Trees also don't do any harm, but don't place too many touching each other because it'll make the game a little slow when you walk by them. Also, don't hack to many trees in one day, for your game may not be able to process everything at once. Rocks are a little dangerous, so only hack to many in one day. Buildings can be really dangerous IF they are placed in the wrong spot; don't place ANY two buildings next to each other because it could delete some important buildings such as your house (if that happens, your game is bricked!). Only place 1 to 3 buildings a day, each one far apart from other buildings, and only keep about 3 to 6 hacked buildings in your town and your town is still safe. Lastly, NEVER delete your original buildings, ESPECIALLY your house, gate, and town hall. It can cause the game confusion and brick your game. If you keep your original house and hack another house elsewhere, that's fine. Again, Action Replay does NOT harm your DS console, but can alter your game cartridge.
Sorry I went a little overboard on my description, but I like to inform people about these things xD
