In Pokemon Black and White, sometimes when you throw a Pokeball, and you'll be guaranteed to catch the Pokemon no matter what Pokeball you used. This happens very rarely so you may be playing awhile before it happens. When it happens the Pokeball will pause in midair for a split second before hitting the Pokemon and catching it.
