How to get a dog

It`s actually really easy to get a pet dog.I promise,
It`s NOT fake!I can even gove you my friend code and
I can prove it.Anyway,this is how to get a pet dog!!!

1.When Pete comes,shoot him down.He comes usually at
9:00 am and 5:00 pm.He doesn`t come everyday though.
2.Talk to him until he says 'owie..yowii.oww' or something like that.
3.Run and shake the closest tree.Keep shaking until...
4.A dog will pop out.It will say,do you want this dog?
Say yes and you`ll find a leash in your pockets.You can
Also take your dog for walks.
5.If your dog runs off,go to your house and look under
Your bed.Lie down and the dog will be you friend.
6.Therefor,you dog might get too tired if you take him/her for too many walks a day.When you trip,your dogs will also trip.
7.You can also name your dog
8.There you have a dog! [strike]

NOTE: Doesn't seem to qork for everyone - It's not clear which version of the game you have to have for this code to work - or if it works at all.

if you have an r4 or r4i card dont change the settings to Japanese, if you do when you turn your ds back on it will show up on your top screen: Error in red writing.
Dont let he/she come to your town because they could action replay your town, they could ask you to go into you house and they could put a town hall in front of your door so you cant get back out, or they could say could you please save because i just bought a hat from Mable Sisters or something, then if you do save and they have action replayed your town it will stay like that forever,unless you make a new town but if you had a perfect town before it will take ages to recover it. Don't trust people you don't know. Hope this helped, by the way IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A DOG ON ANIMAL CROSSING WILD WORLD!!!

i have been trying for the last month and did it exactly work for you? I YOU REALLY WANT A CHEAT then all you need if a four leaf clover, 10'000 bells a golden shovel, an axe (doesn't matter if its regular)
1:chop down a plain tree
2:dig up the stumple
3:plant the 10'000 bells in the same hole
4:plant the 4 leaf clover right next to it
5:soon you will have a money tree

You have to take your DS (which it only works on) and switch your settings to Japanese. It hacks the system (legally!) somehow and switches systems through Nintendo Japanese Version and yes you can get a dog but you must do what I tell you up there!

Getting a dog might not work, but there is tonnes of other things that do work! like having a baby, (Getting money doesn't work on my game) Getting a boyfriend/Girlfriend, and oh, if your wondering how to get an animal to come to your house, it's simple. Talk to them, and they MIGHT ask if they can come to your house, but it works a whole lot better if you've just expanded your house. They ask you a time, and it's usually best in an hour's time.But if you want to have a baby with them, (This only works if your a girl inviting a boy) Do all of the above, then when they come into your house, get really close to them and press B rapidly. I can't remember what happens after that. But after they leave, send love notes like, "You're my lover" and "You're the one of my dreams" But after about five letters, your sixth and final letter will say,"I love (Name) does (Name) love me?" Then the next day, he will like you! I think they ask you over to their house, (I can't exactly remember) and you jump onto their bed. The lights turn off, but you can still hear the internet talking! The rest is for you to find out. Hope I help, and I hope it works! ;)

It is true and it is a lie. On the Japenese Version,
You CAN get a dog. But you don't hit Pete and then shake a tree. You fish and when you catch a fish, you oak all the shells and the next day there is a dog and it looks hungry so you keep it. My couison is a AC:WW ace and he has a dog [color=red][size=12][/size] [/color]
