How is the Ikana king defeated? I have no clue what to do and I keep dying.

You keep hitting him with your sword.It takes a while.Try paralyzing him with light.If his head comes off,turn into goron and roll around the room in circles.The ice breath,try arrows.The light doesn't kill him.

Burn all the curtains in the room with Fire Arrows. This will make him avoid you. Lure him to where you can reflect light onto him with the Mirror Shield. Other than that, just use sword slashes when you see him about to attack or just finishing attacking. You can use the Zora Cutters (arm boomerangs) to distract him, then slash. And you can stun him with the Deku Spin Attack, then take the mask off and slash. When he removes his head, quickly run around the room in circles using either the Bunny Hood or the Goron Mask. The head thing is what does most of the damage.
