What I do is I blast them with the shredder whitch can do some awesome things to them either tearing the skin off their abdomen or ripping the skin off the arm it will also take the heads of the tan dinosoids that swipe at you with there claws also it will rip the arm off either the tan ones or the greenish ones that shoot the purple energy at you you can also make them blow there body in half if you shoot them with the shredder and it doesn't kill them the wierd part is that you can see the body below the waist on the ground thrashing but the upper body dissapears also you can tear the head of the raptors as well as tearing up there body in the process note the warblade is capable of tearing off the heads and arms of the enemies if you get the angle right and yes that is a useful way but this one is faster exploding shells in the shotgun are the equivelent of the shredders bullets also the shredders bullets split into about 7-8 smaller ones that ricochet around the arena also with the mantids it ussualy tears the body in half and the gorons will sometimes have holes in there chests that spew blood with the spiders I don't think there are any gory effects and some other weapons do the same thing depending on the enemy this was silver the game master.
