Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have many names pending for Simpsons Tapped out which I play on my IPad. But I cannot get the menu to drop down to show me the list. Does this mean these people haven't accepted my request? Or is there something wrong with my IPad?

I have the EXACT same problem. It won't let me see the pending Friends, even though I see there are 3. I can't close the long list about it either, even though the arrow that points down will close this list for a second, it opens again, but not the pending friends. I was able to add friends about month ago, but not now.
