Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I am getting sick of whacking snakes it was fun the first few days now it's just annoying and the prizes are lame.. Just wondering if there is another way to get rid of this update without using up my donuts or waiting to whack all these snakes....?

The snakes are still moving around my town and its just annoying!!!!!!!!!!!
