To complete the calendar you have to re-arrange the pieces into a circle. If you don't it will still say please place the last piece. You probably have all the pieces but didn't place it into the circle.

Please help me find the last piece of the Mayan calendar! I've lined up all the pieces in a perfect circle and nothing's happened....

I been trying for a while to get all the mayan pieces but I keep smashing zombies and getting nothing neither are my step kids are we doing something wrong is it in certain zombies or no
